Charlotte's THREE - OMG!

We enjoyed a very fun and busy long birthday weekend in Vermont with the grandparents, Auntie Jess, Darwin & Tristan. Highlights included: grading the muddy driveway with a toy truck, sliding with Auntie Jess, a day at an indoor water park, a very close "getting dressed fast" competition, an Easter Egg Hut, Easter Brunch, and a birthday party! No wonder we were all so tired upon returning home!!!

Bad parents that we are, we forgot our camera! But, fortunately, Auntie Jess kept her wits about her and took lots of pictures to share. Here are a couple of our sweet birthday girl (momentarily healthy between bouts of bronchitis on either side of the trip. Yes, folks, she is on antibiotics for the third time in 3 1/2 weeks! Amazingly, there has been very little complaint, since she is so easy-going!)

At three, Charlotte is generally a delight - sweet, gentle, up for anything, affectionate, crazy about animals, engaged and interested in the world around her, and enamored with her big brother - imitating his every word and action. She does like to play "helpless baby" - our least favorite game that includes an extremely whiny voice and "duh" expression on her face. But, since she's so fabulous, we'll forgive her! Charlotte is completely potty-trained and looking forward to being a big sister and starting school this year.
