May and June

Catching up on some photos from the spring:

On rare occasions, Finley sits still for a few minutes to flip through a book. He's becoming more and more interested in learning new things, and bit by bit he's getting closer to reading to himself.

Leaving Charlotte unattended with a cup of water practically guarantees that she'll either start sprinkling water everywhere or (if it's an open top cup) that she'll start putting bits of food into her water. We call these her "chemistry experiments."

Charlotte has one of her babies wrapped up in a sling. Not sure what Finley's doing here, but that's a lovely sequined purse.

Busy talking on their harmonica phones.

Happy boy playing with his wooden railroad tracks.

Either Finley is #1 or there's something interesting on the ceiling.

A brief moment of sandbox time with no quarrels.

The kids love Daddy's big duffel bag - any time we're packing for a trip, they hop right in.

Sometimes there really are monsters under the bed.

Back porch swinging.

Finley got a nice buzz cut at the start of summer. Much more convenient for everyone.

This is Charlotte's troublemaking face.

The intrepid hiker. This was a beautiful hike near Flagstaff Lake with Papa and Nana.

Well-prepared with the double backpack and teddy bear.
