New from the Alsobrooks

Hope our readers enjoy the following posts from the last couple weeks of August.

Finley's Mom and Dad are convinced that this will be the picture he choses to put on the cover of his band's first album:

The kids have been having fun helping mom out with dinner. They each get their own "ingredients" and cookware and Finley narrates every step of his recipes!

We try to have creative time every morning. We usually get out crayons, but we recently did some construction paper projects. Charlotte is a sneaky one and often manages to get up onto the table before we can anticipate her plans. It's cute, so we take pictures before we remove her!

The kids LOVED stomping in the Hurricane Irene puddles. Fortunately we had almost no damage, just a few small branches down in our backyard.






I told Finley that these were my "Dancing Shoes" and he couldn't resist trying them out himself.

Not to be outdone, Charlotte tried on my "work shoes" - Much more boring than the dancing shoes, but she found them entertaining.
