We had some visitors this weekend to celebrate an early birthday party for Charlotte.
Charlotte is very interested in Baby Trent (but in this particular photo she's more interested in her new toy).
She got several nice presents - here, Daddy is pondering the mysteries of a talking cookie jar. When it came to unwrapping the gifts, Finley was her enthusiastic helper. I think he was more excited than she was.
She's been trying out a new experession lately - a frown/scowl. It doesn't seem to be connected to what's happening around her - in this case, she was certainly having a good time with her cool new stacking blocks.
Another scowl, although I think this one is real. There's a burning candle on top of my food - what is wrong with you people?
She certainly didn't mind eating the cake, though!
Finley is borrowing a special hat that Mommy made for Daddy several years ago.
