Getting Finley Tired Out!

We've been doing a pretty good job of getting this little guy tired out lately!! Last night after the Fourth of July festivities in Westborough, he was asleep in the car by the end of Peter and Linda's driveway and slept straight through the night without even waking up when Nathan carried him inside to his crib. We forgot to take our camera, but hopefully Uncle Jake or Mimi and Grampa will email us some photos from the weekend to share on the blog.

Last week one day I took Finley into our favorite beach - he had so much fun running around in the sand!

And slept soundly in his car seat on the way home!!

On another rare sunny afternoon last week, we set up Finley's little pool in the backyard. He didn't really like getting wet himself, but enjoyed running around in the sun and throwing stuff into the pool.

And this morning, we decided to take Finley to a pick-your-own strawberry farm. It was lots of fun and we all enjoyed being outside in the nice weather - you wouldn't know it by the pictures I'm posting today, but we have had steady rain and gloomy weather most of the time for the last month. Luckily today was beautiful. Finley loved helping with the strawberries - and I think he *might* have eaten a couple :)



Once again zonked out in the car seat on the way home - this time with strawberry juice all over his sweet little face! This afternoon I'm hoping he'll "help" me make a strawberry pie!
And, last but not least, here's a photo of a proud little boy wearing his new "big boy underpants" - he LOVES them and asks to wear them often. He's still in diapers most of the time, but it's fun to start thinking about becoming a big boy!!!
