Finley's Holiday Season - part 1

We had wonderful Christmas visits with all of Finley's Grandparents, Aunt H. and Uncle T. and with many old friends at a New Years Eve wedding in Woodstock, VT! Finley was a real trooper for the whole trip and very much enjoyed the visits, Christmas trees, and playing with new stuff!!

Apologies for the delay in getting some holiday photos up - we've been up to our ears in travel, visits, laundry, settling back in, etc. so put off updating the blog. Without further ado, here is the FIRST installment of Finley's Christmas photos. Our internet connection is slow tonight - so check back tomorrow for more!

In Derby, Grandpa put Finley right to work shoveling off the deck. Notice the lack of mittens? Finley has decided that he doesn't like mittens. Even cold hands didn't convince him, so eventually we went with our old standby: the socks-on-hands approach. It may be our best bet for the rest of this winter...
Finley loved playing with the garland and ornaments on Grandma and Grandpa A.'s tree.
Here's mom enjoying a Christmas snuggle from a little boy in his diaper. The wood stove was blasting cozy heat and Finley was probably the only one of us appropriately dressed for the temperature!
Ah yes, here's our little guy helping in the kitchen - while wearing his NEW red jammies. So cute!
After returning to Brunswick, we had a short visit from our wonderful friends the Rosepiehlers (or is it Piehlerroses?). You can't really tell by the photo, but as it was being taken, Finley was trying to get Sarah's attention for a kiss!
