Saturday in the Old Port

Yesterday Finley accompanied Mommy and Auntie Heather on an outing in Portland. It was wicked cold, so Finley wore his full body fleece outfit over his clothes, as well as his boots, jacket, hat and mittens and about three blankets and one windbreaker over him in his stroller. He was warm except for his face!

First we went to the Children's museum, where he had a great time! He especially enjoyed a large beach ball in the toddler area. Every time another kid was playing with the beach ball, he just followed them around until he had his turn again - it was pretty adorable. He also enjoyed the play-grocery store, where Finley found out that his mom is a big dork. It's okay, someone would have let him in on the secret eventually :) (also note the girl in the background wearing a life-jacket - very safety conscious apparently)
After the museum, we found a comfy cafe for lunch and coffee. Finley and auntie had some fun playing together.
Did we mention yet that Finley is into giving kisses? The only problem is that his kisses involve teeth and a fair amount of drool. Auntie Heather was willing to risk it:
