Poor Finley is still suffering from a cold. He's definitely much better than he was a few days ago, but still not quite himself. Last night he didn't sleep well (at all!), which means none of us slept well, and probably nobody on our entire street slept well either. Anyway, in order to keep Finley cheered up and in effort to tire him out so he'll sleep well tonight, we spent the better part of the day playing outside. First we all went to a soccer game on campus, then returned home to play outside on the deck and in the backyard for hours. He had lots of fun getting into stuff and ended up covered in grass and dirt, just like little boys should be! Right now he's soundly asleep - cross your fingers for us that it's for the whole night, or at least most of it!!

Finley hanging out with his two-year-old friend, Sam. Sam's parents were looking after Finley for a while one day recently and I just discovered this photo on Sam's blog - looks like they were having fun and, as usual, getting into stuff (literally in this case!)!

We're thinking of selling this photo to Swix for their promotional materials. How could they resist? :)
