Finley's been working on his first tooth for a few days now - this morning it finally poked through. It's hard to see, even in person, but it gave us an excuse to take a lot of pictures of Finley while holding his mouth open.
You can just barely see it in this picture - it's the little pale blur on the lower left gum.
We had another first today - Finley's first ski! So far this winter, we've taken turns skiing while the other takes care of Finley, but today we decided it was time to get him out on the trails. It was a nice warm sunny day - beautiful spring skiing, and not too cold for little boys to go outside. His dad wore him in a front wrap - not the best arrangement for perfect ski technique, but not a bad way to get around. At first he was looking all around, not sure what was going on, but after a while he drifted off to sleep. By the time we got back to the car, he was a bit cold but seemed quite invigorated. We brought him home and changed him into some nice warm pajamas - quite an eventful day for a tiny baby!
