I just finished knitting Finley his first "butt sweater" - actually a wool diaper cover, but the pattern called it a butt sweater and I thought that was funny! It came out pretty nicely, given the fact that I'm more of a measure-once-and-cut-twice/don't-follow-the-pattern sort of craftsperson. The next one will be better, I just wanted to get the first attempt done quickly to see what it would look like and how it would work as a diaper cover. So far it has worked well - the lanolin in the wool makes it moisture resistant. And it looks cute on him.
We didn't get a chance to write anything yesterday, so here's the photo I had planned to post:
