Here's what I learned: we put Finley in a sink full of warm water and he starts fussing, either immediately or gradually. We adjust the temperature a bit and put a wet washcloth over him - kind of like a security blanket. After that, he settles down and even seems to enjoy himself, at least until we try to wash his armpits - because hey, who likes having their armpits washed? Sometimes you can settle him down by swishing his hand around in the water - Grandma Louise used this method successfully today. Eventually, it's time to rinse him off and take him out of the sink. This part, not so good. Getting out of a nice warm bath is no fun. Fortunately, we have a nice soft alligator towel to dry him off with. Alligator towels make everything better.
